General Objective

To help improve the oceans’ scientific and technology knowledge of high school and college teachers to inspire and encourage students in ocean themes. To promote the creation of an ocean literacy program that increases awareness of the importance of seas, better understand the threats, closely link to the knowledge to scientific research making it accessible to both teachers and students so that they can contribute to future better-informed actions and decision making about the ocean and its resources.
